As VP of Relationship Management in the Technology Banking division, Tom maintains a strong pulse on the technology ecosystem in Canada and helps founders make meaningful connections with the SVB professionals who provide the creative and bespoke financial solutions and specialized services they need to thrive in the innovation economy.

Tom’s experience to date has helped him create a diverse and far-reaching network of founders and operators. Tom helped create the Creative Destruction Lab (CDL), where he went on to serve as associate director and director ofthe program, ), a premier global accelerator for building massively scalable science–based companies. From there, he was on the corporate venture arm of Boat Rocker Media, which invested in media and media-related technologies. He also spent some time in the food and beverage industry scaling the Toronto-based Dineen Coffee Company. Lastly, combining all his previous experiences, he managed WeWork Labs, WeWork’s product for early-stage technology companies across Canada and the United States.
