Jon is a Managing Director at Deloitte Ventures where he is responsible for scaling the DV platform across direct and fund investments through deal sourcing, execution, and portfolio company monitoring. Jon brings over 12 years of investment banking, private equity and venture capital experience as an investor, advisor and board member across the health, consumer, IoT and B2B SaaS sectors. Prior to joining Deloitte, Jon spent over 5 years at TELUS Ventures, the CVC arm of TELUS Communications, where he helped grow the ventures platform into a recognized global CVC player investing in seed through growth stage companies and venture funds across Canada, U.S., U.K. and Israel. Previously, Jon worked at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan (OTPP) in the private equity division where he focused on direct investments. Prior to OTPP he worked in the investment banking division of Scotia Capital focusing on the Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) sectors. Jon has an HBA (with distinction) from the Richard Ivey School of Business.
