Canada’s Hottest Innovative Companies Shine at CIX 2010
Three companies awarded with distinction among 25 of Canada's Hottest Innovative Companies


Toronto, ON (December 7, 2010) - The Canadian Innovation Exchange (CIX) is thrilled to announce the three companies honoured with distinction as part of the Canada’s Hottest Innovative Companies program.

Each year, the Canadian Innovation Exchange searches for Canada's most innovative technology-based companies in Information and Communications Technologies (ICT), Clean Technology and Digital Media. After nearly 200 applications, Canada's 25 Hottest Innovative Companies were recognized by a selection committee made up of twenty-six leading experts from major corporations, entrepreneurs, and investors. These companies presented today to a live audience at CIX, with one company honoured with distinction in each category.

Canadian Innovation Exchange Announces Nominees for Canada’s Hottest Innovative Companies
Toronto, ON (November 8, 2010) The Canadian Innovation Exchange (CIX) is thrilled to announce the 2010 nominees for Canada’s Hottest Innovation Companies. Each year, the Canadian Innovation Exchange searches for Canada's most innovative technology-based companies in Information and Communications Technologies (ICT), Clean Technology and Digital Media. CIX, taking place December 7th at the MaRS Centre in Toronto, Ontario, provides a platform for these companies to showcase their great Canadian innovation while catalyzing strategic relationships and transactions across this dynamic sector.

CIX’s search for Canada’s Hottest Innovative Companies announced at CVCA annual conference in Ottawa
2010 dates announced: December 1 at the Design Exchange in Toronto


Ottawa, ON – Announced today at the annual CVCA Conference in Ottawa, the Canadian Innovation Exchange (CIX) launched its third annual campaign to seek out Canada's Hottest Innovative Companies. Each year, the CIX competition searches for Canada's most innovative technology-based businesses in Information and Communications Technologies (ICT), Cleantech and Digital Media. CIX is a showcase for great Canadian innovation while catalyzing strategic relationships and transactions across this dynamic sector.

CIX also announced that the 2010 edition of the event will take place on December 1, 2010 at The Design Exchange in downtown Toronto.

Beginning today, CIX invites all technology-based businesses across Canada to submit their profiles in an open competition. A group of finalists – dubbed “Canada’s Hottest Innovative Companies” - will be selected to make a live presentation at CIX in front of hundreds of industry leaders, including major corporations, entrepreneurs and investors. From these finalists, Canada's Innovation Leader will be selected on December 1, 2010 at The Design Exchange in Toronto. In 2009, this distinction was awarded to Markham, Ontario’s CognoVision, a provider of real-time audience measurement and retail intelligence solutions for retailers & the out-of-home advertising industry.
